Groundline

Intimist in character, the Groundline drawings require close attention to detail.  Whether my forms lean, hover, reflect, balance or circumvent, they are anchored to, or drift above a low horizon line. This perspective is owing to my interest in the art of Isamu Noguchi. He often asserted the importance of the ground plane, believing it to serve as a symbolic connection to the earth.
